From the foundation of the Edge Children's and Youth Ministry, God has said that our purpose would be to raise up career Christians. This simply means that our focus is to train the children in each stage of life for their divine calling in life. From nursery and toddlers, to the youth and, eventually, the college and career age, they will be taught in every area of church responsibility, leadership, doctrine and, of course, spiritual development. It is our responsibility to help our young people recognize and develop their gifts, anointings and callings. The way we do this is by setting up each stage of development with the appropriate training strategies. Now is the time they should begin preparation for their role in the Body of Christ. We focus on praise and worship, prayer, faith, healing, prophecy and other spiritual truths. We also define the importance of church structure, missions, and the importance of the Holy Spirit in our services. All of this will be achieved through fun and creative methods, using various resources and tools. We consider it a pleasure and responsibility to help you train your children in the way that they should go. Life never felt so good "living on the edge!" |

The Edge Children's and Youth Departments
Nursery and Toddlers: Ages 0-2 years old. Not just a baby sitter, but a trained staff to minister to your child's spiritual, physical and emotional needs.
Pre-School: Ages 3-5 years old. One step closer to knowing who God is through age appropriate worship, games, and sight and sound lessons that will be sure to keep their attention.
The Edge Children: Ages 6-9 years old. Partnering with parents to lead your child into a growing relationship with God. We believe in not only empowering children, but parents as well. Children will bring lessons home each week whereby parents can work with them on on a continual basis.
Junior Youth: Ages 10-13. These pre-teens have a church service all to themselves in which they will be challenged in Christian service, evangelism and prayer.
The Edge Youth Ministry: Ages 14-18. We are training these young adults to become leaders in every area of their lives. When you teach a child how to honor God with their life, when they are older they will know why they should honor God with their life. |
